Well then.. Saturday we drove over to Julian to scope out the course for my 5k this coming Saturday. I couldn't find a course map anywhere so I just eyed the area, didn't look too deadly, some hills, but nothing insane looking.
I haven't run the last few days as work has been in OT mode for end of quarter and i have been working 12+ hour days.
I did run this morning, a mile in 15 minutes, and might run another mile or 2 tonight. Then I will take tomorrow off, maybe swim some if it is nice at lunch time and otherwise rest up for Saturday morning.
We will be leaving the house around 5am Sat. since there were no reasonably priced hotels available for just a 1 night stay for Friday night.
So i probably won't post again until after the race, and hopefully my hubby can get a good picture of me crawling across the finish line :)  ¶ Thursday, November 02, 2006
